Friends and neighbors of Dover Street Park in North Oakland gather the first Sunday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to build community and green our beautiful park. We catch up with each other, share neighborhood news, enjoy watching children play and prune, weed, plant, laugh. Come and join us!

Two Crab Apple trees moved!
A glorious day today. Despite the switching back of clocks one hour volunteers gathered, as agreed, at 10 a.m. Two of the crab apple trees were relocated to make room for the garden beds. Six people dug, dug and dug to lift up the trees and to make two huge wholes for them to fit perfectly in their new homes. One tree went right at the north entrance of the park and the other behind the grasses along the fence also at the north end. A very productive morning.
